‘Lokin matka’ DJ set 30.7.2022 @ Psyfamily Gathering, Finland
‘Lokin matka’ is my second live DJ set. I performed it in Finland at Psyfamily Gathering on 30th of July 2022. See the setlist and a video containing the recording and footage of the performance below.
The title of the set is Finnish and translates to ‘Seagull’s Journey’ and for a reason, for the whole tells the following story: “The seagull expects a cozy Saturday night, but a chill time with the homies takes an unexpected turn when ravens and eagles pop by for an unexpected visit. How will the evening end?”
The story in its Finnish and as such better form for anyone versed in the said language: “Lokki ennakoi tuttua ja turvallista lauantai-iltaa, mutta chillailu rastaiden ja hyyppien seurassa saa yllättäviä sävyjä, kun korpit ja kotkat paukkuvatkin kutsumatta kylään. Miten ilta päättyy?”
The set contains music of following genres: downtempo, dub, ambient, breakcore, metal, synthwave, progressive trance and trip hop.
